Any Sherline mill can be ordered with stepper motor mounts factory installed in place of the handwheels and ready for the application of stepper motors and computer numeric controls (CNC). This lets you use your own computer instead of buying one from us. You can then use either our CNC stepper motors and driver box or there are several aftermarket suppliers that offer motors, drivers and software to complete the CNC system.
The 5000-CNC (inch) or 5100-CNC (metric) mill with 10" base can be ordered with a selection popular accessories. Included are all the items you need to set up for most milling jobs including cutting tools and holding fixtures.
Included with the mill are the following accessories:
- 1072 1/4" Jacobs Drill Chuck
- 3013 Step Block Hold-down Set
